Coastable won third place at Canada Pitch at Palace
On May 20th and 21st of 2019, two co-founders from Coastable Biotechnologies - Chi Le and Enzo Casal - brought our A-game and went to Toronto for Canada Pitch at Palace 1.0 Boot Camp and Competition. Along with other 23 start-ups from across Canada, we presented to a panel of judges, audience of local and international businesses, and Prince Andrew Duke of York.
We were selected as the runner-up, voted by the audience and the judges.
We are not just creating a product. We want to start a revolution.
During the pitch, Enzo - our Chief Scientific Officer - said "we are not just creating a product. We want to start a revolution." At Coastable, we want to change the way people use plastic and, along with us, believe in a future without plastic.
During the event, Coastable received incredible support from our mentor and the audience, ranging from connecting us with the right contacts in the biochem field, research centers, plastic manufacturers, and investors, to advice and feedback on our business model and presentation.
